Cheque required for offer letter
Hi folks, lately I have given one company interview and they are asking me a cheque of whatever salary has been confirmed for joining the company as a confirmation that I will not do offer shopping.
I know this is a red flag but I have a notice period of 90 days and I want to have a offer to put the resign rather than without offer
So my question is do they will do any legal action towards me if I block the cheque after giving it to them and after finding any better opportunity

This is a huge red flag. I wouldn't take an offer from a company with such a ridiculous ask. You don't just give a cheque to someone like that, unless you are signing some kind of binding agreement with them which says that in case you do not join them you'll be liable to pay them this amount

But do you think that they will legally take any action or this just to fear the candidate

No company will ask cheque. Ask them to send a mail

I guess they are ready to give this on mail also that they are raking cheque

Taking*

What if someone puts a slightly mismatched signature such that the cheque will be rejected.

Yes bro this I can try😅😎🤝🤝

Company can file a case against him legally

Which crap or fraud company is this...never heard something like this ever!

Thanks guys for the suggestion, I’ll keep looking for better opportunity only from now

Is it sigma solve

No bro
