I got an offer from small company and I signed bond worth 1 lac and given them a cheque of 1 lac rs now some family issues I am not able to join the company.what should I do? I have stop payment for the given cheque.

AFAIK, and i may be wrong but probably the cheque will bounce and they can file a case on you.
