I have joined capgemini at jan 2022 as Consultant. I asked for promotion after a year but my n+1 said that you have to complete 2 years so that you will get eligible for promotion. Now it almost 2.6 years if I ask him for promotion he is keep on saying it's in progress. I didn't get the promotion in July quarter my colleague who joined with me got promotion as senior consultant. My N+1 is expecting everyone to be under his leg like a dog those who nood head for him will always be in his good list. He is location leads for chennai. I kept silence and decided to not ask promotion to him anymore.
