ChatGPT is bad at coding. It writes code with memory leaks, race conditions and security vulnerabilities etc.

It writes pretty shitty code TBH and to vet it before adding it to prod is just more work.
Only usecase I have used it for is transpiling stuff to a language I am not yet familiar with, was migrating a service from JS to rust and asking chat gpt to convert some func from js to rust is a great way to learn some intricacies.
