Chatgpt and job loss

White collar jobs will be replaced at a faster pace than blue collar jobs.
Tools like ChatGPT will replace the need of having multiple people on a particular project. Hence the "optimization" will happen such that if 10 people are need to do a project only 2 or 3 will now be needed. The remaining people will have to find new projects.
As AI gets better the number of people needed would decrease.

No....I feel it will create more jobs as with advent of it people will try to bring in more tech products to the market in turn creating more jobs....Not saying no job cuts at all but there will be a job shift....

Every unintelligent part of any work be it coding or testing etc will be automated and hence more likely to be impacted by AI tools like CHAT-GPT. Team size may see reduction of 30-40% initially. This will have ripple effect on middle management layer as less number of them will be needed due to smaller team sizes. Lets wait and watch.
