Chat GPT is getting dangerously perfect

I have around 8 years of active development work experience across multiple stacks, both front end and backend. From past 6 months I have been using GPT as assistant and must say it’s getting dangerously perfect . We are now able to do projects at almost half the cost. There has literally been no hiring done for 6 months without affecting productivity a bit.

I wonder how many days before it takes over half the jobs in tech including mine.

Trust me there still be someone needed to use ChatGPT and that person has to be perfect in getting the right answer.

Yeah, stack overflow is also getting dead because of chatgpt. I get solutions faster in chatgpt then stack overflow

Yes ,slowly it is happening. people will be required even with ChatGPT but the number of people required are going to reduce , the time taken to complete the same activity is going to reduce .
New opportunities will arise but
Chatgpt and others is also going to get better . It will definitely change the way Dev happens

Impact of chatgpt

Has anyone come across people losing job because of chatgpt? I think many people foresee that happening but i am more curious to know how do you feel about that in Indian tech sector.
