Anyone else finds it funny that TCS is asking us to become proficient in AI but blocks access to Chat Gpt on the TCS systems. I mean, what even is this??
Sometimes I wonder is this really I software engineering company restricting people to access learning tools. Why can't they consolidate all learning tools in central shared location and provide access to employees. Why each time we need to raise RFCs for community editions and open-source softwares. If person wants to become skillfull how can he becomes with TCS laptop. I just want to burn TCS laptop for this kind of policies.
In frescoplay, they have a virtual machine kind of environment which you can get access to if you talk to your TD.
You can download, install, access anything there. Temporary access.
I attended a deepskilling session last month, . To avoid the hassles of RFC, approvals TD recommended using that to complete the project for that deep skilling program.

Prompting is not AI proficiency.
Have you gone through gen AI competency? It has course that teaches on prompt engineering and integrating chatgpt API. If we don't have access to website how can we learn and complete it.
