Trending @Cognizant; Change of Service line

As i'm in Java FSE service line now, can I ask my home manager to change my service line to data related service line which I'm interested in and also skilled upon? Will he agree? I waited for so long but no work has been assigned on this service line but somehow I'm not interested either. Can someone please suggest me what to do?

Within data it is very difficult to even switch BU/project... And you are going to change whole service line? 😂😂😂 Good luck to you bro...
