Change of roles from developer to manager
Currently i am looking for a project, i have 6 years of experience, in tcs it has been 1.8 years so far. How can i switch from developer role to manager’s role. Do i need any competency? Will my compensation be increased? Also, should i opt for this change? I am an iOS developer. Please help. Thanks!
Speak to your manager about your ambitions. Tell them you are interested in growing and ask them for additional responsibilities where you can showcase your potential. You can't just become a manager by completing some courses. You have to display leadership skills and there should be a requirement for a manager in your unit
