Change of career fields

Is it possible to go into strategy/ consulting roles with good compensation without MBA? I’m currently QA, 3 yoe, but had offer from one of the top IIMs during my final year and have kept learning about most MBA topics on my own as my hobby.

If you can get into a top IIM. You should get in there according to me. Otherwise getting into strategy/consulting is going to get harder

Top IIM with being in top 30% of your class atleast. McKinsey, Bain, Boston won't take you in without pedigree even if you've got a good network
