Trending @Capgemini; Change in base location
Hi All I am working as a senior analyst from Bangalore EPIP office and want to change my base location to Kolkata. I even have approval for the same from the director of my BU and my manager is also not having any issue with the change. But today I got revert back from the RMG of my BU that currently they are not processing request for change of location to Kolkata. And also team member of my domain is working from Bangalore location.
What can I do now in this situation ? I have pinged my manager as of now to talk with the RMG manager and see if he can do something.
You've done the right thing by involving your manager. Keep pushing politely, and maybe try to get your director to nudge the RMG too.
The problem is RMG directly said they are not processing relocation request for Kolkata location and one team member of mine got his location changed to Hyderabad and for that he agreed on easily and got the process initiated today only. So I am thinking now it's because of the constraints of Kolkata office location space they are not processing the same and whether they will nudge for it even after pushing for it.
For our case if location having odc they can change it easily if not not possible.
