Trending @Infosys; Chances to get promoted??
I joined Infosys as an Associate Consultant post completing my MBA last year December. I completed my training and got into a project in March. Now I am worried that though I am giving my 9-12hrs daily to this project being a BA(other BA doesn't even care to take task) and seeing the way they try highlighting the small work they do might end up in a situation where I don't get promoted 🥲. is it possible? will I not get promoted? when will the promotion event take place?
You will get your progression between 1.5 to 2.5 years of your joining date . Slightly earlier like 1 year if you have been doing some great work visible to to top management. If don’t have any prior exp it will be nearly 2 years, if some IT experience then you will get it once you cross overall 3 year mark.
even though I am giving 12 hrs of my daily life with dedication the only challenge I feel is if top management doesn't see that or if other BA impresses being a girl.
Why are you thinking that she is your only competition and they will only chose between you and her. If you think you are not being visible enough make yourself more visible. And if she gets it before and you eventually get it within 3-6 months would it really matter
My teammate got promoted to senior associate consultant exactly 1.5 years from joining data. He was also a MBA graduate. It is just role change not an increment in salary
increment is not even close for me to consider for years I guess

Why that late🥲
You joined in Dec 23. In 24 June you would get confirmation. Then you need to spend at least 1 year in your role no matter how well you are performing. Then you would be eligible for promotion/progression. Check with your manager as well.
Going from ACon to SCon won't make any difference. I would suggest you to spend atleast 20% of time on developing yourself.
This 20% will promote you in your life. Rest 80% rewarding you is totally your luck with the firm. But, 20% would surely be in your hands!
Within the same JL B to A will happen in 1 to 2 yrs.
