Chances to get onsite opportunity in TCS?

What are the chances to get onsite opportunity in TCS for an associate who joined as a fresher?

One of my friend is about to complete her 3 years in TCS. As per the feedback by the other colleagues and seniors, she is one of the good resource in the complete team. Same has been mentioned by the team lead infront of other team members multiple times. Right bow she us being over occupied with work load and responsibilities. What should she do?

Onsite opportunity depends on multiple factors.

  1. The country where onsite is located. Example USA requires like minimum 9-10 years now. These things are decided by tcs corporate and change from time to time. Usa H1b visa has a lottery system.
  2. Your position in account level queue for similar individuals.
  3. If there is a position on onsite for which you can be sent.
  4. How much budget has the unit given for this year Visa processing. There are many conditions which are not in your control.
