Trending @Infosys; Chances of Lay-off

Hello Everyone, I have recently joined Infosys about 20 days back as an Associate Consultant in Cyber security domain. After induction, I have had about 2 discussions with Technology Manager and another Project Manager, where they asked me for my skills if they match with their team's requirement. I guess the discussions did not go well and I have been now put into Central bench pool.

Since I dont have much idea of Infosys culture, can someone please explain what are my chances to get laid-off. I am worried as I have heard infosys conducting lay offs in past. I have joined as JL4, kindly help me understand what are my chances of being laid off and how to get tagged to project.

If you are on bench, managers from different units will reach out to you regarding project opportunities and fair chance most of the time your skillset may not match the requirements of the project. Nothing to worry about it. Keep reaching out to your TPD manager and also check for relevant openings in Learning and Careers page.

Central bench pool allocation means that your profile is now available to TPD/Project managers throughout Infosys. Anyone can seek you if your skills in your profile matches their requirements. Nothing to worry about. Meanwhile you can also search for a project that aligns with your skills.

Don't worry bro. I am here from past 3 months. Still no project. Join as ACON at Jl4B. I am too on bench. Don't worry. People will reach out to you. Just do training and certification from LEX.
