Yayyy! We have 3.5 lakhs of workforce in India. So basically 4.28% of actual workforce will get promoted!
So if your project has 100 people, 4 will get promoted! 96 will clap with single digit hike if you are lucky enough!

The corporate world really knows how to serve peanuts with a side of optimism and call it a banquet.
But hey, keep that chin up. And remember to talk to your people lead about your “interests and aspirations” because those matter. Even if raises don’t.
Out of 3 lakhs employees many are fresher who wont be eligible for promotions and Many ASEs who already for promoted in previous cycles.
This is why email says 50k promotion in entire year.

Bro Honestly, I’ve been noticing this pattern for the last two years, they just keep pushing promotions to the next cycle every time.
I think at first glance, all can be happy about it because any hike comes after a long time. But if you look closely, there is no bonus in May/June this year and if your hike is just 5% or so, this will be less than the bonus generally offered. So in a way, Accenture has eaten your bonus for this half year and also giving you peanuts. So I think there is nothing to be happy about
Last two appraisal discussions ended in 2 min, now I am scared of the big expectations list which will be given after announcing 3% hike.

This means whatever bonus was decided in December cycle the same amount you will be receiving in June nothing extra. So the amount which was received in June would be the same approx in June. This was told to me by my previous manager itself that vp is actually decided in Dec for the entire year and that they will divide in 2 parts
Something is better than nothing buddy . Almost everyone thought that there won’t be any hikes this time but we are getting something right so be happy for that
