Caution to newbie investors

This is a friendly reminder that stock markets can be brutal.

You may have not seen cases of Vakrangee, Suzlon, Yesbank, IL&FS, DHFL etc but when they happen, you are almost dead.

It's an old story now. Used to be a darling stock at some point. You can read about it here: https://www.businesstoday.in/markets/company-stock/story/pc-jeweller-share-price-falls-vakrangee-share-buy-sebi-probe-225598-2019-08-22

Such euphoria which we see in the market today is not new and I have seen gullible investors who wish to earn quick bucks resort to "tips" and end up investing large chunk of savings on these stocks. This may not be a large sum like in this example. But, it may be a large chunk of his NW.
