Cash gift on wedding amount

How much cash (or equivalent worth) do you give your friends on their weddings? Asking because the number of weddings is suddenly going up.

I try to gift enough to cover pro rata per person cost, hence depending on level of marriage and "my aukat" I've given 5g gold coin to 1001₹ cash envelope
