Trending @Infosys; Carrier advice
Hi! All, It's been 3yr in Infosys and from starting I got 2 nd shift project. Due to which I need work late night. Now this is effecting my health. Sleeplessness and headache. Last year I clearly told I won't work late night and stoped working, but call from SPM there is no other option. Even they told DM has all the projects with 2nd shift.
I don't what to do. Should I resign. Will I get remote job with good pay.

You should know your health better than anyone. There's no use earning money if we couldn't enjoy. I was continuously getting night shifts (I have diabetes blood pressure and toddler) but Infosys did not give me exception. I resigned the job with no offer in hand. You are just beginning your carrer so try to switch your technology if needed go for higher studies or keep hunting for jobs. Infosys will never help .

That's a brave thing to do, how is job hunt going?i also need to do same, resign w/o offer, currently accumulating info n strength.

Health come before anything. Please take a break. If you badly want to resign then just resign and take a break. When you feel good, then try for other companies. But keep in mind whether you are the bread winner of the family and whether resigning affect your family daily needs. Take care.

When we were kids we use to read it in our text books - " Health is Wealth". Believe me it is... I know because I am suffering from way too much than just sleeplessness and headache. These are the signs that body tells you to stop exerting way beyond your physical capacity at that moment. It's not worth. Once you become unhealthy, it's for your whole life. You can manage it to be good , but you cannot restore it back to original version. So, try to manage your learning and quit this 2nd shift thing. If it's rotational it's understandable, if not, then it's not worth. You make money, you spend in your health...not worth at all.

Just log out at the end of the shift and don't extend timings. If not possible ask if they can release you back on bench.
