Career Trajectory as a Fintech PM

I started out as a PM 2 years ago at a Bank after my MBA. Realised it wasn’t actually PM work so moved out after 1 year. Product people of GV, please take out a couple of mins and help me out

Took a designation hit (APM) joined a pre IPO decent sized fintech, learned a lot of PM stuff there. Was in payments which got saturated for me so again moved out after 1 year into a fintech unicorn (moved here again as an APM) I’ve worked on B2C products only and across growth and retention.

My questions-

1. Will I always remain confined to fintech firms?
2. I eventually want to move to an MBC of sorts, would that be possible?
3. How can I upskill (any certifications etc?)
4. Did I make a mistake taking the designation hit? I thought it’s early on and shouldn’t matter if money and role are good.
