Career Pivot: DBA (2.8 YOE) to DE, SA, or DevOps?

I'm a DBA with 2.8 years of experience looking to pivot to a high-growth career path. My priorities are highest salary, stable work timings (general shift, no on-call/weekends off), and long-term future-proofing. I'm comparing:

  1. Data Engineering (DE)
  2. AWS Solution Architect (SA)
  3. DevOps Engineer Which role offers the best combination of: High Salary + Stable Timings + Strongest Future? As a DBA, which path has the most direct skill overlap for a smoother transition? Thank you for your concise insights!

Why not SDE? Those usually will pay more

SDE will take time and i am already a DBA so it will be easy for me to switch to these 3 as they are relevant fields. SDE i have no experience and there are so many people already in that.
