Hello Folks,
Can someone please provide some insights regarding career levels at IBM w.r.to Band. I have been offered the role of Package Specialist with band 6B. I want to understand what the career hierarchy mapping with Years of work experience looks like.

6B kinda means Senior software Engineer. Band 7A and 7B for Leads. 8 for Managers

I have 6 years of experience and have been offered a 6B Packaged Specialist role. Do you think it is aligned correctly?

As per my understanding, the required experience for 7A is 7+ years for employees within IBM and 5+ years for others.
FYI it doesn't solely depend on the years of experience. There will be others variables too.
