Career in TCS | Worst Management
I am in TCS from more than 2 years. I joined as an ASE-Trainee but now they forced me to work in BPS project because they don’t have enough project for tech professionals. Guide me to move out from this loop.

Bps means?

I am an IT professional but management forced to work in Business process project (BPS)

I would sugesst only one thing to take that project and meanwhile in the free time when you get just start preparing yourself for switch so that you could atleast get the opportunities that you are interested to join with..All the best

Switch bro switch otherwise your life will be hell

@ConstantPhrase57 - Since how many days are you on the bench?
Have you allocated to any project since joining?
What is your location?

I’ve spent almost a decade at TCS—half in BPS, half in IT. When I moved to IT, the salary revision was so small it was almost laughable. In fact, I earned more in BPS.
Now, about that suggestion you got—let’s be honest, the salary difference between IT and BPS is insignificant. And if there is one, it’s likely due to bias, which goes against organizational culture.
My advice? Stay in IT. Unless, of course, you’re okay with losing touch with technology.

I also work in tcs and project was transtioned from British Council and initially they said after 18 month i wil be eligible to move into different project but now HR said policy has change and increased upto 3 yrs. I just baught a house and unable to make up my mind, can anyone suggest what should do?
