Career guidance
Hey all ,i ‘m working in TCS support project technology is java,spring-boot,SQL for the last 2.5 years .i can see no growth in this project anymore as there is no learning for me .while in support i always asked onsite people to assign me development task also worked single handedly on many features but the thing is development work doesn’t comes daily so most of the time i am stuck to checking INC ‘s.Talked with manager about this as well but he wanted me to get certified in Azure so that i can support in azure projects as well.But dont want to again stuck in the sane loop.
The support work doesn’t excite me any more,the development is still ok .Side by side i am preparing for FAANG/MAANG as well.But are there any real development project in TCS.if there where i can find them.I am pretty good in JAVA but if need i am willing to learn new technology as well.
First of all ask release after the band released, there are pretty good developement projects, once you go to bench, try to contact rmz personal and ask them for some good dev project, also you can check with your friends who are working in dev project you can ask the referral from them in same team, they can refer to manager and you will get a chance to interview. Meanwhile start giving interviews outside tcs and if you get any offer then put down the paper and switch.
