Career gap in IT

There are so many profiles I have seen with many career gaps and this shift is very normal now given people personal priorities. But why do the Talent acquisition judges the shit out of the candidate just because he/she took 2-6 months break or was laid off or could be any personal reason. Can't the person has a right to breathe in his life lol.

Have you came across this judgement especially in non tech role in IT product?

Truth is companies want to show hiring, they just reject as many candidates as possible for any reason when the position is already reserved for someone or during sudo hirings.

When there is a genuine hiring you will get hired despite career gaps, criminal record, unclear bgv, nothing can be a showstopper if your skills match with the job opening!
