Career Dilemma : Deloitte vs Capgemini -Advice Needed
Hey folks, need some quick career advice.
I’m currently working in Deloitte as an Analyst with 3.5 years of total experience. My current CTC is 8 LPA + 10% variable. I’m expecting a ~10% hike effective from May 28, which should take my CTC to around 8.8 LPA + variable.
Now, I’ve got an offer from Capgemini for a Consultant role with a fixed CTC of 13 LPA
My dilemma:
- Deloitte has brand value, decent work culture, and stability.
- Capgemini is offering a much better salary (4.2+ LPA hike) and a designation jump.
- But I’m unsure about the learning curve, long-term growth, and actual role responsibilities in Capgemini.
Should I take the leap for money + role change, or stay back in Deloitte hoping for internal progression?
Any insights from people who’ve made similar shifts (especially from Deloitte to Capgemini or vice versa) would really help!

Don't Join Capgemini, working here is hell, Managers are less educated, all that matters is count. They don't focus on quality. Hikes in Capgemini are very bad. You can work hard and pick other companies over Capgemini.

Long term growth is up to you wherever you go, based on your engagement in work you will grow. But opportunities are very less in Capgemini, after a certain time you will feel exhausted with these worst management.

Hey what did you decide?
