Career as a Business Analyst
I am working as an analyst in Amazon and my CTC is ~25LPA (excluding RSUs). I wonder if other companies have a good payment band for the analysts role or not? How much increment I can expect from my next switch with 5YOE. If you know a company which pays good to BAs/data analyst please suggest.
Don't go to service based company. Also there is not much growth for BA beyond a point as the job is easily replaceable. Anyone from dev or testing can easily do a BA job.
Any suggestions, what roles can BA transition to for a better career?
In consulting, I have seen people move to partner and managing partner. So in addition to domain knowledge they do resource management and business development. But this is a very small number of people as there can be just 1 partner for a lot of resources. So it's pretty much a dead end for most people.
