Career advice : PMO - Global professional practice group

Hello everyone, I'm looking for advice on my career growth. I've been into EY for 1 year and also that's my total yoe. Recently i received an email from management that they're looking for people for the role PMO for Global professional practice group. Can anyone or the one who's into this domain share your opinion about this role. I need to know about the scope for the role.
