Career advice and opportunities (seeking)

After deleting last 3drafts here’s me trying to write again in a way I don’t sound too desperate. I’m with 4YOE in operation support (it’s somehow different from CS as I have never faced one customer)

I’m tired of this domain asking me to do same work for 5more years in order to get a promotion. I’m trying to learn skills and tools. From PowerBi, tableau, project management and six sigma. I know basics of SQL too. But most of the recruiters want experience on paper and not skills. Also current package is good enough that starting fresh is not sounding that appealing. So where do I start?

Help this little girl please!!!

Try to move internally to CS or Product success or project management roles if they appeal to you, once you are in those roles, you can modify your current experience and highlight relevant aspects, which will make your Cv more desirable.

Internally we are fucked. We don’t get much openings

You should start targeting roles where your existing experience aligns with desired skills, like data analysis, business intelligence, or operations management. Highlight your tools expertise with portfolio projects. Consider transitioning internally or networking for roles valuing transferable skills over documented experience.
