Career advice

Hey! This is something which has been on my mind for a long time. Please gimme your advice on how to proceed. Right now I work as a Software Engineer - 1 with 1 year of experience. The project I work in is exciting on paper but based on the 1.5years Ive spent with the team and the way its headed, I somewhat dont feel its wise to stay long here.

Don’t get me wrong, I do get to learn a lot while working in this team. My manager is somewhat arrogant and doesn’t appreciate the work I do, which doesnt make me to push myself to be at my best while working. At the same time I feel im wasting my potential the longer I stay here.

Salary wise right now I am happy but would appreciate a bump in salary, ready for more workload…

My inner voice always pushes me towards the world of entrepreneurship and somewhere down the line 5-10years from now I do wish to change roles from swe. Would definitely love to work at a startup before that…
