Career advice

Graphic design field seems interesting. Can anyone tell me a roadmap or advices for this field ? I am actually employed but in bench period and having skillset html css javascript bootstrap java sql and i started working from one and half year .

Is it possible for me to switch to this career?? Is it a good choice?? Im confused
