Best to learn on manual, if you learn on automatic its highly probable you will always be stuck on driving an automatic. Even if you choose to buy an automatic car its important to know how to drive a manual. My sister bought a new swift automatic and is a good driver but she knows only automatic... if i park my car behind her's she is stuck on my mercy :D so learn to drive a manual

Apply for a learner's license online and buy the car. 1st car is a milestone for many, heartiest congratulations on your decision

I would suggest go for the car model which you have learnt( which mode you learnt, automatic or manual) and buy new card. Dont go for old one. I learnt manual and bought ERTIGA . Fist few years some dents happen, dont worry about it. You just need to spend some additional money to repair.

Buy Kylaq, it’s the best

Buy a new Citroen c3 manual. Taxes have reduced recently. So you should be able to get it within 6.5 lakhs. It is a hatchback but acts like a suv. And it is more suv than other so called suvs in the market. Suspensions are plush. Engine is good too. Bang for buck

Go for lord alto or baleno in used car market. Wagon r or i10 is also good option

Where to buy from i mean cars 24 or spinny is reliable option? Ppl say that old cars have to be at repair centre most of time?

I have bad experience with old car. I didn't get it checked thoroughly with mechanic. You can buy old car but without thorough inspection would be a mistake.

I don’t know if they take driving tests in automatic cars, if they do, then you can go ahead learning in an automatic.

Manual cars are worst in a city like Bangalore…

If you go for automatic, EV is the way to go.

Don't go for manual or old car it's a waste of expense...if u want to learn it the hard way then go for old car and manual..I been driving since my college days from my experience i suggest u to go with a new one and automatic..why I m saying this is because as u said it's the first car to ur home it will have lot of sentimental values and u r gonna keep it for long run if I m not wrong...if u buy an automatic then driving through traffic will not be a big deal coz in manuals clutch control u need to learn and in lot of traffic ur foot will feel the pain by applying the clutch switching gears from 1 and 2..

Simply i suggest u to go with any small cars which suits ur budget..buy a new one definitely and automatic will be a suggestable choice 😌

And Congrats in advance for your upcoming good things ✨
