If a Capgemini employee is working at a client location and the client wishes to hire them as a permanent employee, is this possible? What is Capgemini’s policy regarding such transitions?

Yes it’s possible. Both parties need will work for your transition. It can take 3-6 months before you are on boarded. If you don’t want your current employer to get involved see that there is no NOC of 6 months in place where you cannot join client. If not you can resign and join there.
