Many of us are unable to book time off on election date if it falls in the phase 2 of which state it might be . On reaching out to replicon team multiple time no response and after reaching the BU HR I am told to avail PL for phase2 if I want it's totally your look out if u wish to take off caste vote or wfh and vote .
They dont care about the law of land . This was not the way before . Management from abroad need to look into this .
You can apply for election day off on the day or after election day. If you are in us shift then you can't avail off as shift starts after the election gets over.
My base location is Gurugram and election will be on 25th May that is on weekend and voting at my home location was 7th May. Can someone suggest in this case how can I avail the leave ?
My base location is Pune and the election over here is on 13th May and at my home location it's on 7th May but I was not able to apply for the Election holiday on 7th May. So I informed my supervisor that since I'm unable to apply for the holiday on my state's election day, I'll be applying for the Election holiday on Pune's election day (13th May) but will be taking the actual holiday on my state's election day (7th May) and will work on 13th. My supervisor had no issues with this and he approved it without asking any questions 👍👍
Will suggest u to apply leave, but work for that day and enter unscheduled hours for that day, get your comp off and apply it for the day you have election at your location. This plan should come from your managers and they should approve it as well.
You are able to apply for election day leave on that day only what election day is there for your base location. If your voting location has a different phase then talk with your manager and adjust leave. Like apply your base location holiday work on that day and take holiday on your location voting day. I also did same and many people are doing like this only
