If you're a fresher, go for Infosys—hands down. They genuinely have world-class training facilities, which is rare in India.
If you're an experienced professional, just go with whichever company offers a higher package (including variables). If both offer the same, consider the time and cost of commuting. Apparently, Capgemini has a stricter rule of clocking 7 hours a day, 12 days a month in the office, compared to Infosys’s minimum 4-hour/10 days rule.
If you're into serious application development, Capgemini tends to have a lighter workload—at least from my experience so far.
Infosys is probably better in most other aspects, including management (despite its unusually complicated organizational structure), policies, and project opportunities. The whole “70-hour workweek” thing is a myth. It totally depends on your project and role, and that's true for any service-based company in India.
And if you're wondering about hikes and bonuses—they're like peanuts in both companies.
I have worked with Infosys for the last 5 years and have switched to Capgemini last year.

I have worked in Infosys now i am with Capgemini. Capgemini is far better than infosys. Kind of people n projects are better in Capgemini.

Go with the higher package. If both offered same package go with Capgemini. I have been working here from the last 4 years, and I am chilling with my work
