Capgemini offer dilemma.
Hey guys, Got offer from Capgemini a week ago but they gave 10% hike on fixed and 10% variable. Total 20%. I didn't accept that and asked the HR to revise this, as before interviewing, I asked 35% hike. HR said, she will send this for approval. Fyi, I am been offered for Senior Consultant C1 role.
It's been more a week now and I don't any updates from HR. Few days back, upon follow ups, she replied as no updates but after that she haven't replied my text.
What you guys suggest, should I start looking for other opportunities or should I wait for the revised offer?
You should keep looking, worst case you have multiple offers. You can accept and negotiate on what you have.
Show them some counter offers.
They won't change whatever offer they have given. If you are not satisfied,don't take it and look for other opportunities. But if you don't get anything anywhere else, evaluating that situation will also be good
Whats ur tech stack and YOE?
Do both - Follow up with the HR & also keep looking for other opportunities, the later being the important one. You can't trust HRs just based on word communc6
