Can You Spare a MacBook for a Developer in the Making?

I've been learning iOS app development primarily through online resources, using only my office Mac—which I can’t take home or use beyond work hours. If anyone is willing to give away an old MacBook they no longer use, I’d truly appreciate it. I can’t afford a new one, but I’m eager to keep learning.

What I used to do is, go early and stay late in Office for the learning duration in start. Also, you get get Macbooks on rent. Thats what I did later on, got a Mackbook air M2 for 5k a month.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I actually do try to go early and stay late at the office, but unfortunately, work often catches up with me and it becomes hard to dedicate focused time to learning. As for renting a Mac, I looked into it, but the 4-5K per month cost is currently out of my budget. Still exploring all possible options to keep up the momentum.
