Can you get put on a PIP just 3 months into the job?

I'm 3 months into this gig as a senior consultant level 2, and honestly, I've been making some mistakes in my work. Didn't have the greatest start, you know? Came from a slightly different field, but they still hired me. So, how much time do you think they'll give me to get my act together and improve? Anyone here ever gotten placed on a PIP so early on in a job? Share your thoughts, yaar!

Some companies can be pretty strict. If they think you're not up to the mark, they might put you on a PIP to see if you can improve quickly. It sucks, but it happens.

I think one should be happy if they are put on pip in the first 3 months. Since , company has the right to directly fire as 3-6 months is usually the probation period
