Can we watch youtube videos on TCS laptop for training purpose? Is it allowed ?
I am looking for structured training for Microstrategy. In iEvolve and Udemy, only few courses are available. Since my client ID is not created yet, unable to download Microstrategy Developer in my system. Unable to download on personal laptop for practice because it requires business email ID. Only source for further training seems YouTube videos.

No you cannot and more over consider TCS or client machines as official, please don't use for personal, it may lead to termination also, TCS will be very strict in policies
You can watch just login in to your vdi and from there you can access YouTube. 😉
Anything not blocked explicitly is allowed. So if it's working in your system, that means your zscalar policy which is often tailormade for every project - allows it. If it's not working, get yourself enrolled to some GCP courses - they keep happening in TCS and then raise a request to enable YouTube. This will be allowed because GCP courses/training materials are mostly on YouTube.
Better to get an approval in mail.
But YouTube is allowed.. and accessible.. it might be a violation if you spending your working hours in watching shorts or some irrelevant videos... But leaning content might not be a problem I believe but just cross check with your colleagues or team mates
