Trending @Accenture; Can we trust DU lead
I have an offer from Big4 company with hike around 35-40 percentage of hike on base pay ,I have an experience about 3.8 years in SAP my DU lead wants me to stay in Accenture he is offering me a promotion in December cycle with around 30 35 percentage of hike on base pay ,He has not given anything in writing but he told that he will put forward my case to leadership and forsure can get me promotion this cycle ..how trustworthy this can be if it comes from DU lead or leadership and will they get budget this December cycle to give 30 - 35 percentage of hike for CL 11 to CL 10 promotion?

Ask them immediately not in the Dec cycle, that's how retention should work, if not nothing can be trusted.

Adding to it, My DU lead sent my name for promotion this mid year, two levels up whoever sat there didn't approve it. So there is nothing in DU leads hand, they can just try all from their side, unless there is a budget or proper reason they would not give it.

Need advice
I put the paper last week as my salary is not matching with career role. Now my manager is asking me to wait till dec and take the exit paper back. What should i do?

DU lead may try best for your case but what if Accenture HR head decides to freeze promotions during year end ?

There is no surety! Entirely upto you if you want to trust!

If they give you promotion then you should not trust about the percentage of the hike, it may vary between 25-35%, but it will be loss for you. Same commitment happened for me and they were agreed to give me the promotion with AM with 22-24% hike. But I have resigned.

Never stay bro. What if he is shifted to another du or another role , accept the offer and switch in my opinion.

No. Move out

I would day go for it! Not just for money, getting into big4 is a decent switch coming from Accenture.

Paise nhi hai inke pass. Mat karo viswas. The work environment is also becoming hostile here. Switch and grow
