I will tell you what's going on. They first zero in on who to lay off or put on PIP. Manager has no say in it. Then once you enter the meeting room, they will ask you questions about your misdeeds such as swiping on Saturdays. Don't do anything which gives HR a chance to further their agenda

Finding loopholes to escape will put everyone into more trouble. Already we have moved from 25% strength WFO to 100% WFO bcos of some ppl and everyone suffering. Now we are going to spoil whatever left to enforce micromanaging.
