There is no such policy exist in system. You can rejoin tcs. Infact with the implementation of new bench policy, tcs will have to rehire otherwise client will start looking another vendor.

If you have talent to offer they will make an exception and re hire you.

If not then trust me my friend you arent safe for too long in TCS as well.

Rejoining a company depends on the companies situation also.... I have taken a decision to never rejoin Accenture due to their Diversity and Inclusion policy.... Was really overwhelmed looking at how they were handling the appraisals just to satify and and all KPIs related to this policy...... Recently heard that they took back the policy due to Trump.... Thats how shitty these people are... First they show that they care about such things and haress people in all possible ways...and now change back everything as if nothing meant to them.... Kisi ke sage nahi hote ye..... So yes try to rejoin if you really think its worth all the pain....
