Can we reject our band?

Yes, you can reject band. I have seen people rejecting band and having long discussions with HR and manager. But it is really of no use. They will not change the band and you will get in bad terms with your manager. So it is basically useless.

If nothing is happening upon long discussion with HR and manager, raise grivance under employee concern by selecting correct categories and see if that helps.

Once the bands are given there will be disagree with my band option. In that way you can reject

We can reject it but they will do nothing. They will give you some excuse will tell you try for next year 😔😔
