Trending @Cognizant; Can we join the client company directly after the company in which we are working?

I am curious whether we can join the client company directly as the client company is giving a higher salary with many perks ? If yes then what should be the approach ?

Maybe you need to talk to client poc and if they agree, It can be possible.

Is there any contract that prevents us from joining the client company?

Usually there is a non-compete clause, check your offer letter to be sure.

Clients and service companies and yourself have a clause they sign which doesn't allow them to poach from either side... But if both client and company agrees then you will be allowed to get onto clients payroll. In very rare cases if you have very good rapport with your client you can quit the company join some other and have the client hire you after 6 to 12 months time so you are not bound to the clause..
