Can we get Exp Letter If we Resign when in bench in TCS.?

I joined 5 months ago in TCS and I got lot of depression and threatening now I am un allocated an I would like to resign, If I put resignation now what will happen and can I get Exp Letter, How many days I have to serve since I am in bench and what is the procedure can any one help me please???
