Can we escape Gender roles?
Watching a love story of trans couple (born a different gender and now embraced different gender).
The trans woman (born a man) is working in kitchen, taking care of household chores while the trans man (born a woman) is out of house, working a day job
I am surprised that gender roles have not left them, even after embracing what they were meant to be

I don't understand the obsession with opposing anything that resembles gender roles. It makes sense if there are restraints imposed by an external party. But as long as people do what they want out of their free will, what's the issue with them conforming to gender roles? And what do you mean gender roles haven't left them? Let them do what they want to no? Why should they conform to your ideals about gender roles?

Makes sense, I let my biases take over

The day my spouse starts earning enough to sustain the both of us, I’m resigning immediately, firing the maid and picking up the broom.
Who would want to work against thousands of unknown variables outside, rather than a few known variables in the house.
10/10 times I would prefer running the house than being the breadwinner (if money is sorted)
