Trending @Infosys; Can we do only work from home, if we are in a project

It all depends on the manager.

Exactly! I said this to my dumb manager....she just couldnt understand that! She was like....who told you it depends on the manager 😂🤦🏿♀️ This and that have told us not to approve exceptional wfh requests just like that! And blah blah dumb stuff like some school kid ratto-fies something

Then you can ask her ..it depends on whom? and talk to that person.

Forget about WFH, now it's 10 days in a month where employees are required to come to the office. They will grill us further. This company doesn't care. No WFH request they are entertaining and responding. It's the only employee's health issue, vetted by Infosys doc.
A famous dialogue, Form nahi bhara toh hospital me mareez ko Dr. dekhega nahin. Form bharte bharte marr gaya toh .....!!! toh bhi kisi ko koi farak nahi padega..

To be honest it depends on the Manager. Some managers are still approving the Exception requests.

Yes indeed they are approving if an employee should have a genuine reason. If it is getting auto-approved by the system, then be prepared within 6 months you shall get the mail asking for explanation.
Note: The fun part is what will happen when the system stops auto-approval and your manager is also not approving, then loss of pay.

I have to go to the office 3 times a week. I can't apply wfh for more than 2 days a week. It will go as exceptional.

Only if your manager gives you exceptional approval because HR department will ask you for not completing 10 Days of WFO
