Can we claim PG rent is under HRA?

Hello community!! I recently moved to Bangalore and currently staying in a PG. I was wondering is there any way to claim my PG rent under HRA ITR deductions??

Yes, you can. It's similar to house rent only. Instead of rental agreement, you just give rent receipts for each month. If its more than 1 lac per year, you can ask for PAN of pg owner.
