can we ask work from home for a year upon a baby birth for caring of newly born baby ?
is this policy exist in TCS ? If yes can someone share me the path for the same ?

If you want to avail the benefit and follow the policy at the same time, I would suggest you to ask for 6 months' WFH for now. Once you are about to complete 6 months, negotiate for a max of 3 months. Usually, HR will approve if the project doesn't want to lose you. By then, figure out a way to take care of the baby (seek help from near and dear ones).
Check with your HRBP, they will direct you and ignore the negative comments.
