I am a lateral employee..the reason behind asking change is I don't want to work under this manager and also the manager has extended the probation.
You can go to your preferred unit just by completing a skill tag of that particular unit. Then use the mobility program offered by Infosys by that you will be released in 2 months. And it's system generated so getting released will be confirmed unless you accept the manager's request for extension. By skill tag certification I mean suppose you want to go to the AINA unit you have to complete the AI professional skill tag. You can see the certification and learning path in Learning and Career or Lex. I have done it myself

Yes, you can ask for a unit change at Infosys. Start with Internal Job Postings (IJP) and get HR and manager approval. Managers can be a roadblock; they might not release you easily.
