Can they postpone the date of release from tcs?

My lead is raising an escalation for not joining calls and he said that he’ll request to postpone my date of release from tcs. Is it possible to do that?

When company is paying you till last day, expecting the proper availability is reasonable. I followed same, even when i was a junior. So, i think if you do not attend calls, then probability of escalation to HR can be there. It may result into delay or not, but definitely will result into unnecessary discussions. Try if you can attend, and slowly start KT to new person

Yes , pls keep connected with the Supervisor and respond to him till your last day. You never know who is required when in this well connected and converged world. On paper , attend the call , rest you can slowly transfer responsibility to others.

tcs managers will go to any extent to satisfy their ego ;just follow what they say atleast for name sake.

Drop a formal email with the 90 day period mentioned to your hr, manager and lead. After that be in constant touch with the HR and manager about your release date. Ideally, if you haven’t taken any leaves in your notice period your last day should stay as 90 days. Good luck 🍀
